If you lack physical activities or exercise, the tendency is for the cholesterol to build up along your blood vessels. The liver can also be affected because the liver is the main organ that receives all the excess fats. You need to make sure your liver is in a good condition in order for it to be able to process the fats well.

Your diet will also lower the risks of having high cholesterol. You need to eat foods that have low cholesterol content. You need to avoid fatty foods including those which are deep fried. Aging increases your high cholesterol risk year by year. This is because the body somehow deteriorates as you age. There is no way for you to prevent it. However, you can do things to make your body younger in a sense such as eating a healthy diet and having an active lifestyle. Another uncontrolled risk factor is your genes or blood. You cannot really control it when your family member has cholesterol. It is something out of hand. If one of your family members or relatives suffers from cholesterol, you should be more careful. You should be keener into eating healthy foods. You do not really have an excuse for getting such condition because you already know in the first place that you need to avoid it.
